Not a Romance
Not A Romance is a screen play written for a film to critique heterosexuality. It's about how women are groomed and become women through being abused by men. And how what is called love is nothing but trauma-bonding, and romance a cruel lie. The plot follows a girl who has some seemingly "normal" experiences with something she is informed to consider her "friend" or "lover" but she begins to perceive her night out as a terrifying plot leaving her half-schizo and half paranoid. It's attempts were to make the experiences of heterosexual dating a from the standpoint of a woman with psycho-analysis, and hence the form of a psycho-thriller drama.
